So tell me, I live near Milton Keynes, attended 5 home games and 12 away game this season. Had 2 season tickets for 11years, can't get a Wembley ticket, am I classified as a 'Daytripper'?

I've given up trying to get tickets and canceled my flights. Glad I didn't try and save myself a few bob by getting flights without free cancelation conditions.

Other than that, balls. Going to go to the Club World Cup instead. A poor substitute.

Why can we not just have a bus replacement service from Liverpool Street and Fenchurch street to wembley ?

Ultimately, it always comes down to cost. Anything can be done with the right amount of money. Question is who will want to fund a fleet of buses etc. Would be a great gesture if someone did

That is too much of an obvious solution for this bunch of numpties at NFL and TFL.

Has this solution been shared with the club?

I don't know how TFL sources their replacement bus drivers but I'd assume (much like how we're struggling to source coaches like the NL want us to) it's very difficult to find hundreds of spare buses on a week's notice and to find hundreds of bus drivers that both aren't already working that day and are willing to give up their Sunday to do it.

Hundreds of buses and thousands of cars getting out of Wembley would be far more work than some decent crowd control at the open stations. Just make it 5 pounds a pint after the game. That will stagger the crowd

I dont need my coach so if any takers and we alliwed to transfer ket me know.

I don't think it will be. But I'd hazard a guess that the vast majority of any extra we (may) get, will be coach packages. Perhaps a small amount of ticket only.

That won't work, whole point of the package is that the two come together. I still think there's a chance tickets will be handed out on coaches to stop people doing exactly that.

I have to say I really feel for all those Shrimpers who still need a ticket, personally its unsettled me and taken the shine off next Sunday, perhaps I will feel differently nearer the weekend.
I have followed this thread from the very beginning and I'm still recognising people who post on this forum who are still struggling to get tickets........
Still feel very angry with the people who have created this situation but guess like most things no one will accept responsibility and they are just hoping it gets brushed under the carpet........

Its just a crock of ****.
We pride ourselves on the numbers we
take to games and this is a fantastic opportunity for the club to sell the togetherness we have here and increase the fanbase. I feel so sorry for those not going who would otherwise and the club who've been working so hard.

I spoke to him on Sunday, and believe me, he was somewhat calm in the interview in comparison! To say he's not happy is an understatement.

As one who hasn't obtained a ticket yet, I suggest boycotting anything related to Wembley Stadium, such as food, drink, and programmes. Hit them where it hurts - financially. They can then give all the unsold overpriced food to the homeless.

We are charging for coaches, why couldn't we include the cost of the bus with the ticket ?
