Yelled out 'Up the Shrimpers' during a quiet break in between songs at an intimate REM gig at the Bush Hall, Shepherd's Bush, a couple of years ago.
To which Michael Stipe replied, 'Young man, I don't know what that means, but it sure doesn't sound that good.'
Did the same at Alison Moyet gig at Cliffs this year and received a much more positive response from Alf.
