What should we do with the Cresswell money?

The rumour I heard was that we hadnt paid any money on to the league when we were meant to. What Id like to know is if that is the case, and if it wasnt paid on time has it been paid since. Because if we owe the league money from Wembley that would cause us problems Im sure.

As you dont seem to know whether it was late then its hard to take it as gospel its been paid up however reliable you think your source is. Dont mean to be dismissive but my 'mate knows someone' is the biggest cause of misinformation we hear. Like when someone on here was saying Freddy was on £5k a week because he heard someone at the ground say it...

Well i know for a fact that my source wouldnt lie, but his scource may of. I have no doubt in my mind we paid it late to the FL but it wouldnt surprise me if we had only just got our share back.

We can use the Creswell money for transfers since hopefully we should still have some Eastwood money left for everything else.

We collected the monies when we sold the tickets. It then all goes to the football league. They then split the money (45%) to each team and return our allocation.

Makes you wonder how deep in the mire we are, having this, money for cresswell, money for ferdinand and season ticket money come in recently, plus sponsership money from insure and go and yet we still dont have a pot to **** in

Well that kind of goes with option 2 as a given really, bearing in mind they are free transfers!

using the money and creswell`s wages to fund a replacement for Creswell and using it for waves for his replacement AND wages for additional players is very different.

In fact if it is a 'given' that the option includes more free transfers then both of your options have the same outcome. Money is being spent on players, its just the split between wages and fees' and therefore the timing of payment that changes

I heard that we were taking our time paying any money to the league so if what you are saying is fact that means we have at least paid on the Wembley money which I heard is one of the reasons for being under embargo...

Its in the rules, sorry I cant link but Google jpt rules , THE doc is on the FL website. We pay every thing to the Fl and then they divide up and pay us what we are owed. So in the short term it had a negative impact on cash flow

Im not talking about how things should be done, Im asking how it actually happened. Two very different things!

There have been rumours that the money was not paid to the league on time and for some time, Id love to hear confirmation it has been and if undercovershrimper is right and we have been given our share back (which still makes no sense as a process) then it would mean we are up to date with the league and another reason to be under embargo gone....

I think the fact I said "would have thought" made it clear I was talking theoretically.

Citing rules of how moneys are distributed is no more factual.

I would be very surprised if we had sent all the ticket money to the league any time before the final and the rumours I heard were we hadnt paid it for sometime after either. Confirmation that the Wembley money has all been paid off would actually be a positive as that could be a reason for an embargo.
