Wiggys ratings

wiggy

Darryl's Love Child
Flavs 6 possibly could have done better with 1st
Hammel 9 much better tonight, good distribution and great corners and goal
Barratt 8 usual commited display, absolute rock.
Clarke 4 poor distribution and not good at heading, can't wait to get Sodje back
Francis 8 quality and strong, just get rid of the odd lapse in concentration
Maher 8 totally in control, having to do the work of two men
Gutts 2 how does he get a game, total liability for about the seventh week on the trot, surely the substitution highlighted to Tilly this bloke is the root of any problems
Gower 7 still moving well on the ball and chipped in with a goal
JCR 4 tonight i have made my mind up, for all his good work rate and ball skills i don't think he is ever gonna make anything happen. Poor crosser of a ball and when he had an ideal chance to slot Paynter through guess what, he stopped went backwards and got caught in possesion, enough said.
Freddy 7 looked much more up for it and a decent goal.
Paynter 6 bit of an improvement but can't jump' can't run and movement into space not good
Harrold 7 straight away done what Paynter didn't, won headers and showed good movement.
Hoops 7 like this boy a lot, got stuck in where Gutts didn't and has good skill and movement
Hunty 7 looked miles better than the bloke he replaced

OK, everyone - wiggy's online ... time for that hat-eating?

(Well done, wigs! Spot on with your analysis!)

I think wiggy may be editing as I type.

Unless that really is all that there is to be said after a six goal thriller settled by a last minute equaliser!

Mike. Is this sycophantic *rse-licking clap-trap going on for much longer. Personally I find it rather tiresome.

At the moment it would appear that if wiggy said "bomb Javea now", you'd say "what a great, absolutely, marvellous idea wiggy's had", obviously whilst dipping your toe in the Med.

Ah, come on, Hooly! Let's appreciate that the old girl is right in this case; there's been plenty of unnecessary flak over the past couple of weeks and it's not been a nice place to be.

However if wiggy DID say "bomb Javea now", I'd be the first in the queue with a large mallet ...

After a brilliant game which was capped off by a superb comeback, I think it's pathetic that some people still like to revel in the poor form of one of our players.

Think it is now 99% of the opinion on here now that he should be dropped! He's been getting away with murder for weeks.

Sometimes your comments make me want to eat my own face.

See the parts in bold. People agree now. People didn't before. Is there a chance that Luke played his worst game for us for a while toniight?

It's not hard to spot that Gutts has struggled at this level so far. Tonight he was at fault for Norwich's first two goals as he gave the ball away far too cheaply. Maybe his performance's will result in Tilly dropping him before too long, who knows? However, reading previous posts from yourself you've been having an undeserved pop at him for a while and all of a sudden, after a handful of bad games, people are now agreeing with your posts and you seem to be over the moon that you've called something right! I suppose now you're a football genius who saw this coming from way back in last season when Gutts was part of a Championship winning team!

Not over the moon at all, just think he was overated last year and has been given an undeserved long run in the team this year based on his form this season. People like Che Wilson and Jay Smith are basically told to take a hike but if your face fits and your a good laugh in the dressing room you can play sh!t forever!

Now Wiggy has successfully destroyed Gutts, my money is on poor old Peter Clarke to be the next victim- if you read Wiggy's report carefully he was given an ominously low 4.

Just watched the goals on SKY and can confirm that for the first goal Clarke was on the wrong side of Earnshaw and for the 2nd and 3rd the ball came over his head, the commentator mentioned indisisive defending hence the mark of 4. What would you have given him in view of all 3 goals coming through him and why don't you mention the ones that got 8 and 9. I can only report it as i see it and to be quiet honest from what i have seen so far Clarke is not up to the job and even someone like Prior would sure up the defence!
