Wikipedia Game

Life President
Bored at work today, we kinda invented a game using Wikipedia.

First, we each challenged the other person to find a link between two people in less than 10 steps - which proved fairly straight forward! (For reasons unknown now, the very first challenge was the WWE Wrestler, Euguene, to actor Tom Cruise).

After a few of these which amazingly against the odds were achieved, we then went from a random Wikipedia start, to a celeb figure - the first being a link to David Hasslehoff - and to see who out of the office could get it in the least steps (I won with 7 steps from some vague Japanese art flick).

Its proving to be quite addictive!

Have we stumbled upon the next 'Googlewhack'?

Not so super impressive I'm afraid.
"six degrees of separation" is the idea that you can be connected to anyone in the world via a chain of no more than six people, each of whom knows the next person in the chain.

Read the chapter, 'It's a small world after all' in the book, 'The velocity of honey' for an insight.

Also you might like to try Click on me go on and play a similar game to the one you are playing but with Kevin Bacon as your starter.
