Winding Up Petitions

Apparently adjourned until July 22 according to a sports journalist (from a non-Southend local paper) on Twitter, but nothing official yet

Now confirmed by CP.

For those interested this might provide some insight re the court process on this in the current environment and the roll over for another 12 weeks or so. Of course Ron isn't going to pay until he needs to - and when he does the money will be injected (probably from the development partners)

Would love to know what the “refinancing plan” consists of. I would assume we’re talking a lump sum advance/loan from some development partner against the new stadium development and the deal with the council, which will keep the club running until the new stadium opens or Ron sells up.

I think we can safely say our billionaire co-developers wont be letting this large project be jeopardised for a small few million of "petty cash"- probably in the short term secured against something but ultimately paid back out of Ron's share of the proceeds.

Colonel Tom has raised all that money and Ron is still dodging a bullet!
