We have been in the bottom division for a large part of our history, Im not sure I really understand the "we cant bear to be here" statements.

Is it really that much worse playing Burton in League Two than Carlisle in League One? Is the standard of football actually that much better? Every time we have played a league one side in the past few years we have done ok.

Obviously we want to go up, and league one certainly has some better fixtures, but its not like the difference between League Two and One is that different for it to be unbearable in this league.
That's not the point though is it, don't forget we have been in the second tier twice in our more recent history and the hope for most fans is that we can get back there, if the likes of Orient and Brentford can hit the top of league one then why can't we ?

Maybe those clubs are well run?

It's a very good question actually because I was advised that if we had got promoted last season that the various bonuses, increases in salary that are written in to some of the player's contracts would have created a financial nightmare that we would have struggled to meet - especially in the close season with no match day or TV income.

I think that this could be an influencing factor with regard to which players get offered new contracts and which are released.

Let's hope that the PB signings don't have many bonuses written in to them.....just in case!!
