Breakfast either in southend or maybe London, then getting to the Green Man around 1.

If we win I'll most likely end up passed out somewhere in London....

My plan is mad. Drive to the tube, get on the tube. Walk to the ground. Watch the match.

All fine so far. However, I'm taking my wife and 2 boys, aged 5 and 6. Let's assume worst case scenario with the best outcome, i.e. we win on penalties. We won't get out of the ground and home until around 9.30.

We then go on holiday on the Sunday, which means getting two little boys (who had a very late night) up at 4.00am.

It was my wife the persuaded me because the boys would be tired on the Sunday anyway if we get them up at 4.00am. They may even sleep on the plane if we do this!

It's definitely the right thing to do. I couldn't allow the boys to miss out as they go to most home games.

I just thought I'd point out that since I have bought the tickets (see other thread about not receiving a confirmation email) my wife has been worrying about what to wear.

Drive to Southend on Friday. Stop over at my sisters. Maybe a nice walk along the front in the morning on Sat before lunch at Mangetout for my sisters birthday. Then a mad drive up to Stanmore (hope there's parking) and nip on the tube. Very quick one in The Green Man if there's time and meet up with Manchester Shrimper.

Beautiful!

You *should* be ok. It can get very busy on Wembley days, but only when there is a sizeable crowd coming down the M1, e.g. Challenge Cup Final day. As it's not going to be a particularly popular option for fans of either side and the car park is huge, I'd expect there to be space.

If it is full, the enterprising folk who live nearby can often be found at the top of the car park selling their drives for the day.

Might be in luck cos it's a Saturday, it looks like the streets nearby are unrestricted. I hope to be there no later than 4. Should be ok.

I know a few people have spoken about it but do we think Wycombe will take over Baker Street, I enjoyed it around there last time so fancied it again.

I'd imagine it'll be busy with both sets of fans. It makes complete sense as a venue for people going to the ground.

To a ground that has a designer outlet right next door ? Expensive game
