Your guy is likely to be a pretty low competent so I would cash in, you could pick up a similar player for a few thousand in a couple of weeks. You could try to double net his bowling to respectable but it could take 6 weeks if his stamina and consistency are high respectable, by then his value will have gone.

Bidding already up to £1m on my guy! Thought about training but that sort of Week 1 pull has to be sold. Perfect timing as our cash was running out.

Wage tool suggests that if all four skills popped his wage would be £837. I would be tempted to give him a week of batting, bowling & stamina then sell when he pops in all three as he'll fetch a bit of cash as an all rounder.

I know how annoying the slow bidding up from £1k can be! Will be interesting to see how different the prices are for our two.
 
Only £273k but he was low respectable so probably fair.
 
The variances are huge, saw similar to ours going for almost £1m and then I also saw a £1k+ respectable go for £110k. All about timing (which I usually seem to get wrong).
