Devante Cole has signed for Bradford City on a two-year deal. Was on loan at Mk Dons last year, scoring 3 goals in 14 games. Also when he was at Barnsley he achieved 5 goals in 19 games. He is 20 years old, 6ft 1in, and very quick. I would of liked someone like him here.
These are the breed of players we should be going for in my personal opinion.

My thoughts too.

There was a lad last year, can't remember his name, who was went on loan to a L2 club he was 6ft 1in and in his first 15 starts he scored 6. Not as much pace as Devante Cole but a better goal ratio. Apparently he scored some important goal when he came off the bench in some final or something. I might be wrong but I think he's back at Charlton at the moment.

That's the trouble with these types of players: they just get left to rot on the bench.

Devante Cole would have been a very good signing for us. Would have been happy with that.
 
i do wonder whether the clamour for a striker is affected by people having seen them. the comparison between Cole and Piggot shows that had fairly similar stats but people have seen Piggot so he's not as exciting as someone new and unknown.

Big difference though. Cole obtained his experience (and therefore stats) in L1, Pigott in L2. That should be pointed out.
