Negotiations for the pizza shop to be rehomed at FF are complete. The new company called Pizza Farm will operate several outlets at the new stadium. Ownership of Pizza Farm is a tad unclear though, apparently it will be a subsidiary of a company called Martins Dough and they are going to promote their tasty offerings through a company called Cheesy PR Ltd.

BREAKING NEWS

RM has found his old bank account details and we are all saved!
now we can spend hundreds on thousands of pounds on **** players like Harold and Foran!

Alelooyah praise The Lord!

We'll be on site late October!
He had a dodgy Pizza from Pizza Man once and is refusing to give them money.

it seems casinos next to grounds are quite popular. I've been to the one at the Ricoh and it was really really busy before the game.

We end up there every year after our Trade award dinner which is held at the Ricoh along with the exhibition. Hotel/Casino/Exhibition hall in one place works really well. I beleive the hotel is De vere but have no idea who the casino operator is as im to ****ed by then

If a week in politics is a long time, how long is a week on SZ? There was an air of total desperation on here last week. Gary Lockett had stood down as CEO, dire financial accounts were being released, an embargo was confirmed, would Burton be our last game at Roots Hall? What would be the name of the new club to rise from the ashes? One week on and we sit here waiting for the 'good news' to be announced..........many of us may be deeply sceptical but we are looking forward to a FUTURE! The catastrophy scenarists have crawled back into the woodwork (for the moment) and most of us can look forwards in the hope that the embargo has (or will be) lifted, allowing PS to strengthen his squad and get us up to the play-off and automatic promotion places. UTB!

I believe the correct term is "Doomsday Preppers"......

I think one non-statement has pulled the wool over plenty of eyes. Ron pulls it off again.

However, anyone who thought tonight was going to be our last game is deluded, if we were to die it would be slow and lingering.

There may well be good news coming, but the fact remains we are struggling to pay bills and wages. If the news is the stadium is to begin how does that increase the amount of money coming in ? On a positive note we have 3 home games which will at least bring money in.

My understanding is, for now, the embargo is still in place.

Dont put your head back in the sand for the time being.

A crowd tonight of just over 4,000 probably not much higher against Barnet on Saturday and just over 2,000 next Tuesday is not going to pull much money in.

We need that good news tomorrow Ron, to cheer us up from tonights match.

Heard tonight that the news is re the stadium and that the builders have been confirmed and that work will start in November. Thus came from someone who knows one of the directors. I know we have heard this all before but we will see.

Not doubting your sources but the chairman's statement says: "There will be further announcements this week, which surround behind the scenes management as we gear up to move to the new stadium."

That sounds like more something to do with the management structure/board than construction news, but let's hope. Even if there is an announcement I still refuse to believe it until the whistle blows on the first competitive football at Ronworld, such has been the level of false (Martin) Dawns in this whole process.

Perhaps that is why the chairman has come out of hibernation and made his statement saying he would make another statement soon.

Could you please let me know who the builders are, I fancy having an extension but don't have the money to pay for it, I presume they do work for free ? Not digging at you ( excuse the pun) but how is RM paying for work to start, magic beans and iou's ?

I guess thats the work going on with securing funding from retail, casinos, sainsbury's etc. I'm not saying it's going to happen, but I think thats how the funding is supposed to work.

I was also told that the stadium will be funded totally by sainsburys, they are desperate to get building on roots hall and need us off site and in the new stadium before doing so.
