Why would it be hypocrisy to be against another religion practicing something that the majority of that country would be against? We all know what the consequences of promoting Christianity would be in many Arabic countries, it's completely the same principle.

I have no idea,but how on earth can the West with all their satellite information,jet fighters,sophisticated weapons,trained troops,some how miss the IS build up as in training camps and such like?

Doubt they did miss it, no doubt they have been monitoring it for ages and have not had the will or inclination to act upon it, as they still dont.

Get on with what exactly? Imposing Sharia Law wherever they deem fit? Establishing Caliphates in countries where their not wanted? Is that what you mean or am I missing something here?

They (IS/ISIL/Jihadi's, call them what you will) wan't a Jihad with the West. Us pulling out every single troop from every single Muslim conflict zone on the planet wouldn't stop them beheading and setting fire to foreign nationals or bombing and killing innocent Western civilians as they went about their everyday lives in their own countries.

I'll tell you what. While we're at it we might as well abdicate all Parliamentary and judicial laws here and let them get on with imposing Sharia Law on us here shall we? Yes I'm being facetious but your answer to my question is both simplistic in the extreme and very naive and to be quite frank exactly the kind of thing I thought you'd come up with. I really do urge people to read The Islamist by Ed Husain. It really is an eye opener. I've said before that this man should be wheeled out time and again to speak about Islamist extremism - he makes an awful lot of sense.
I'm as sickened as everyone but it's obvious Isis are trying to get the world to react in the same way Saddam Hussein tried to get Israel to react in the first Gulf war by firing missiles at them. Personally I would be happy to let the Israelis kill every last one of them but this clearly can't happen.
I've met countless people who have been to the middle east in the 60's and 70's and every one of them loved the experience - Lebanon, Syria, Jordan etc utterly Beautiful welcoming countries to all faiths and non faiths alike. Whats gone so desperately wrong then. Look no further than Saudi Arabia and and the evil hate mongers who now live in europe. The kind of evil some who post on this forum are so keen to defend.

The Beeb produced their first report where they question eye witnesses who all claim they saw fighter jets tailing the airliner just before it came down...The Beeb aired this once and then deleted it from all archives.

The cockpit area showed damage of large calibre machine gun fire according to many weapons experts.

The Dutch investigation team refused to comment on machine gun destruction.

Putin was also on a plane similar to MH17 just 150 miles from the disaster..Was he the real target.

Google appears to have removed many telling photos of the crash site.

The truth is out there.
