Great night
Ha! Although I had a ticket for the game (in the West) I had to be back in Barna ,so missed the re-arranged date.
One of my best memories of supporting Southend
It was at Adams Park, 8th December 1990. Postponed match against Peterborough during Wycombe's first season at the ground.John Motson was an important part of that night too, he remembers the game well! I think the photo shows him stood in front of the South Bank - although I've seen a credit that it's Adams Park, doesn't look like it to me!

Sorry to disappoint you OBL, but that is a picture taken in December 1990 of Motty at Adams Park, before the planned FA Cup match between Wycombe and Peterborough. I say planned, as with over 4 inches of snow on the pitch, the game was postponed at a late stage and played the following Wednesday.John Motson was an important part of that night too, he remembers the game well! I think the photo shows him stood in front of the South Bank - although I've seen a credit that it's Adams Park, doesn't look like it to me!
