2021 Friendlies

Does anyone know when we will get season ticket news?

I reckon October knowing our planning and business model. Mostly every club out there put their info out weeks ago. If anything, it would be more of shock if we actually do things right for once but thankfully that never happens so I don't need to worry about that.

Maybe Phil will organise a few games in India with Ron running free coaches

Prestige pre-season friendlies was one of the things that Stan said he'd be looking to help sort. I suspect Hornchurch wasn't one of his suggestions. Oh well.

I think we played Southend Manor in a pre season friendly when Colin Murphy was manager , it was one of his first games and was booed althrough the game .

Didn't we play them pre season in 93 at Southchurch park, after Judas had signed Otto & many others?. Think we won 5-1, both of us were there.

No Judas came after Murphy. Judas kept us up, & it was his 1st pre season. Until he did 'the dirty' early Dec 93, we were in the top 5, & imo was the most exciting time as a Blue's fan in those 1st 4 1/2 months of the season.
The game I saw down Southend Manor , Murphy was manager , must of been 92 .

Given the situation with overseas travel I wonder if it might be easier than usual to persuade some bigger clubs to come down.

Or, given our new-found non-league status, maybe not.

Juergen Klopp has already said that a trip to the Essex riviera to play the mighty Southend United is a given. Mo Salah is apparently desperate to see the worlds longest pleasure pier and Trent wants to sample a Rossi’s.

All of that is sadly untrue.
