Today we were - apart from a spell in the second half after Simmo changed things around a bit - second best against an excellent Southend side

Calm down! Think you have to accept southend are simply a better side, although first time I would have said that this season. We were lacklustre and vinny is awful but I'm not going to get too upset

Defiantly the better side, we lacked any bite in midfield to disrupt their play, they won everything in midfield and just simply couldn't get into the game.

Agree - they were a good side and dominated

First of all congratulations to Sarfend who thoroughly deserved their win .

And another positive ... Steve Evans and his crooks are no longer top of the league because of our result today!

We were awful today and despite having alot of injuries under performed in all areas, the southend No6 Mohsni could have beaten our lads on his own.

They are a decent team and after the first half non show i was pleased we only lost 2-0

There is a common theme here, as Torquay fans also have their own thread dedicated to Evans bashing

It was also said on SSN this afternoon that Accrington "have little love" for Crawley so hopefully teams will automatically step it up a bit when they play them.
