Just back from Southend, I would say overall you were good for your win, you battled and won most of the 50/50 balls and it was 2 great finishes which gave you the win, I would have said a draw would have been a better result, but hey ho, that's football.

Our players looked lazy, I sometimes wish Rasiak would stop scoring so he can be dropped! He is one lazy f%cker! Your right winger was causing Bale all sorts of problems in the first half and looks a decent player.

If you play like that every game then you should win enough games to stay in this division, you are certainly not the worst team in the division we have played.

I thought the atmosphere in Roots Hall was absolutely shocking, being the 47th league ground on my list, I am struggling to remember a more quiet set of fans, even when you were winning!

On a last negative, thought your police and stewards were well over the top, OB came steaming in Yates before kick-off and shut it down, shut all the bars after and even worse, instructed all pubs not to serve us in the evening.

Are they like that with all fans?!?!?

Try not winning for 17 games see how your fans are...

That was actually a decent atmosphere compared to recent weeks anyway.

The acoustics are terrible, I bet you thought you were really noisy, but whilst I could hear the saints fans it wasnt exactly loud. Most of the noise stays in the stand unfortunately.

Only the c%&ts that insist on causing trouble.

The rozzers do seem to be a bit more on it this season.

Before the Preston game they boxed in their crew outside the Golden Lion and escorted them down Vic Avenue and they also got escorted after the game by 4 meat wagons!! I've never seen that in Southend before it was like something out of The Football Factory!

Our coaches apparently were escorted in from Thurrock services! Bit OTT if you ask me!

That's bullsh!t, nobody was causing any trouble in Yates, simply getting on the beers. Why on earth the Police told them not to serve us spirits in there and shut the place a 2:15, kept us in there until 2:30 before marching us to the ground I don't know.

as I told you - you were on the way home listening to "saints lose to" -

thought your fans were a really crummy 1970/80s throwback -

enjoyed singing "play up Pompey. Pompey play up" knowing my old man was at Fratton Park watching the only decent club on the south coast -

isn't Mr. Eastwood the best striker in this division - now you've seen it with your eyes.

good game - don't rush back.

1) I was actually listening to Radio 1

2) In what way were we a 'crummy 70's/80's throwback? At least we got behind the team which is more than your lot seemed to. Your police and stewards were c%&ts, end of.

3) Wow, singing Play Up Pompey, we have never had that one sung at us before, genius.

4) Rasiak is the top scorer in the league thanks, he even managed to score yesterday when he was playing sh!te.

5) We won't be back soon as we will have the Premiership to look forward to next season.

Yep, and Southampton fans serverly suffer from 'bigclubitis' too. Bunch or muppoids.

Maybe they thought you would cause trouble during the game and have a bit of a riot

If you are reffering to the incident in the corner, that was because a tw&t of a steward took a swing at a fan, and missed, ended up smacking a 12 year old kid, drawing blood.

Well if you hadnt all been in the pubs perhaps that accident wouldnt have led to what it did.

Shame you all let yourselves down.

To be fair the Saints fans I saw were all well behaved, and if a steward did bash a kid then he deserves a kicking himself.

Exactly, that's what wound everyone up, the the police came steaming in waving batons which made the matter even worse.

so how long do you reckon you'll hang on to Gareth Bale for? haven't seem a team play through their left-back as much since Chris Powell last wore the blue of Southend...

Read a few saints forums and I found it quite funny that they called Roots Hall a 'Horrible little ground' considering there Nou Camp-esque Dell that was there home for many years must've been the highlight for many a visiting supporters season.

I never go on the coach but I know ours have had to stop and be escorted a couple of times this season.
For that ill-fated FA Cup Replay at Scarborough, when we took 8 coaches, we had a marvellous Escort all the way from Ferrybridge Services, with Police Motorbikes holding all the traffic at each slip road until the Coaches had passed!
