It is ok to not be okay, but that’s not going to get you another contract for playing s**t for most of a season.
 
Of all the players/staff treated badly by the club in the last 15 years. Wordsworth wouldn't even come into consideration.
 
Got my ticket for Wimbledon game today, hope Wordsworth plays in this one, would be good to see him again, always thought it was harsh letting him go from this club:Thumbs up:

Might have been a luxury player but he got goals, important ones to, with the right players around him you couldn’t fault this guy, two great feet and not bad in the air either.

I don't always agree with O.B.L. but I was disappointed he was not offered a new contract.
Was always liable a score goal, when other less talented players did not.
I remember defending him away at Coventry, in quite a argument.
It was his style he was not lazy, his body lanugage, I give gave that off, but if you watched him closely he got through as much work as others. If and its a big if, he got less support than other's with personal problems. That's wrong. But No player is bigger than Southend United, and the Manager must do what he thought best.
Personaly he should have stayed. This is going to be unpopular, keep him or Timlin.
Wordsworth 100 times out of a hundred.
 
the funny thing about him was that he was arrested at a some SUFC party - I think for assaulting a policeman or something - but escaped the moral outrage that followed Ranger around - like that coach bloke who got done down the seafront and was just allowed to disappear ...
