On a daily basis I hear people complaining that the country is on it's knees whilst simultaneously doing all they can to avoid paying tax.

Totally agree there ! Its not so much pseudo liberal or right wing extremist or even that could old xenophobia that has caused the problem . More your good old fashioned greed . I never thought I'd agree with this kind of thing, being the bitter old socialist that I am, but.....yeah, I concur.

God knows, I wouldn't ever vote for the BNP, but the system needs a good shove to the right. Bentley is absolutely correct in labelling the main parties as indistinguishable.

What we need is open debate, from all angles. What we've got is wishy-washy, carbon footprint bollocks from a selection of faceless solicitors all scrambling for the middle ground. This country is in an appalling state and everyone's too obsessed by whichever cause d'jour or celebrity that's stealing the headlines.

France had this a few years ago when Jean Marie Le Pen made the most of an apathetic nation to storm to the brink of power with his right-wing goons. Thankfully, everyone got a bit of shock and voted in huge numbers to stop him, but Le Pen had done his job. He'd pushed the agenda. The only thing being pushed in British politics is the limit of the personal expense accounts.

I don't endorse the BNP, but I do support their right to exist and to be discussed on this forum.

Oooh, and just before everyone thinks I've gone Nazi, how funny is that Shariah Irony? The BNP keep banging on about how the Muslims are trying to enforce Shariah law on us and how the Archbishop is insane to 'support' it, but have you seen their policies?

How long have we been waiting to cure Cancer , malaria , flu etc .
Its a dieases , and while I agree removing the "infected" as the best policy , wholesale slaughter achieves nothing (as in this case i genuinely wish it did).

The other sad fact is most of these cases as either family or close friend relative based .
