Bury & Bolton points deficit

And the Bolton takeover , which the prospect of meant the efl allowed them to play saturday, has been suspended as one one the parties who previously tried to buy them has got a court order

It is, seemingly heading to a crash for both clubs.
As earlier stated, IMO, the EFL have, with hindsight admittedly, handled the situations poorly AND will need to change and set new rules out regarding ownership, finance constraints, payments and cut off times for fixture decisions. And more,

Still doesn't appear any tickets are on sale for Bolton's home game with Coventry tomorrow. How and why are the EFL letting this game go ahead ?

Yes,it appears, from an outsider view, that the EFL have got a rosier outlook on BWFC than on little BFC.

Sure does, seems like they've gone out of their way in support of Bolton.

Tickets now on sale today 'at a lower price' for tomorrow v Coventry but no tickets being sold tomorrow and they've not yet sold any season tickets....

That's because they have a buyer (albeit one that currently can't buy the club because of a court case from a rival buyer that was turned away), no one seems to want Bury on the other hand.

I feel for the Bury fans but also for the other clubs and their supporters having their games cancelled at short notice.Understand that league have given a deadline of the 23rd and in the meantime Tranmere are waiting to find out whether their game is on or off.My concern is if Bury are kicked out what the league intend to do concerning relegation.Heard that 4 clubs will be demoted and 5 clubs promoted from league 2.

Three clubs get relegated. Loads of precidence in lower levels of the pyramid

Surely you cannot relegate an extra club from league 1 just because Bury has gone bust, that's not fair at all to the rest of the league yet league 2 benefit from an extra spot. Surely this cannot be right?

Meanwhile Bolton have 5 players under contract and making up the matchday numbers with youngsters. Why are the EFL allowing this to happen?

Because they have a future financial plan in place which the EFL have accepted is viable (despite the takeover being currently suspended ) . Bury on the otherhand have no money, no visible means of support , no plan and nothing on the horizon, basically they will go pop any moment. so its easier to cancel a couple of games and set a deadline that hope it all goes away and re-jig the results etc if they eventually go under after playing 15 games.

Agreed, the current few weeks are the time to play BWFC and get the present of the points, new money, lots of signings and it will be a different story for the teams, us included, who will not get the gift points.
