We’ve played each other countless times in the Football League. Why would it be our cup final? You’re really tiresome.

In addition to that, since the turn of the century, we’ve mainly played a division (or two) higher than them, if not at the same level.

We’re both big clubs at this level, Chesterfield are a season or two ahead of us in terms of rebuilding & will undoubtedly go up as champions this season.

I’m not taking the phrase “our cup final” as an insult though. He’s right, we have 19 cup finals left this season, which will set us up for 3 more cup finals in the close season.
