Dead, but not really - 24 Spoiler

Kudos to you for the Countdown reference :D

As it's not that I'm going to google it and cheat.

Countdown, que?

Do you mean Catchphrase?
Original answer was one word wrong.
It was "All the little flowers are singing"

2nd line (after 10 minutes of spoken comedy) was "Everything in the garden is happy"

D'oh. That'll teach me to type when I'm eating my lunch!
I was almost correct with the B-Side though... ;)

I had a quick look on google and came up with this snippet from the British Comedy FAQs site on the Young Ones:

Cliff Richard and The Young Ones : Living Doll
==============================================
As part of the Comic Relief fund-raising drive in 1986, this single was
released, which hit no.1 in the UK charts in March 1986. It was also
performed live at the Comic Relief concert, available on video. It was on
WEA Records, catalogue YZ65 for the 7" version. It states on the sleeve
"Coming soon: the book, the LP, the chocolates..." :-)

A video was made to accompany the single, which deviated quite a bit from
the single, and also featured Hank Marvin from The Shadows (Cliff's
original backing band....) The video is available from most of the Comic
Relief compilation tapes that are invariably released around the next
Comic Relief telethon.

The song was also performed for the Comic Relief concert, but a few
changes were made. It was announced that the total and utter king of rock
and roll was in fact John Craven (a newsreader who specialised in reading
the news to children from 8 to 15).

The B-side to that was (ALL THE LITTLE FLOWERS ARE) HAPPY. A transcription
of this is available from the FTP sites

However, as Rich remembers it from the time, I'm going to sit on the fence for this argument!

Could be wrong then in terms of the title, but those definitely are the lyrics!

Anyway, MK, another perfectly innocent thread completely diverted.
Our work here is done :p

On the same line, Chloe O'Sullivan.

And staying with the comic theme, just about every Marvel or DC character besides Uncle Ben.

Not sure if she is fit though. Sometimes she looks OK but then other times she looks a bit rough.

Really loving the new Supergirl though. She looks awesome:

The Owl Man was blind a few months ago, or at least wore sunglasses borrowed from Lennie Peters, then disappeared for a while. Now, though, he's come back with full vision. I shall regale him to "Welcome Home" to see if it is Lennie that has returned.

SamuraiBlue - I only read the first line of this thread. However, if you are going to include a spoiler on a popular series can you please make it very clear in the subject title.

Fair enough, but if he saw it on a trailer, surely it's not a plot spoiler?
If it was, the TV companies would be subject to all manner of abuse!
Although, having said that, FX did screw up the trailer for Season 2 of Sleeper Cell & gave the cliffhanger away!

Maybe, however it is if you haven't seen series 6 or the series 7 trailer!

I, like many, avoid all things like that. There was even a thread on here a weeks ago regarding the series 7 trailer, which was clearly marked so no-one can state they opened without knowing what will be said in the thread.

EinsteinI know exactly how you feel, I deliberately avoided all references to British Maritime History for almost 40 years so that the ending of Titanic wasn't ruined, then two weeks before I got the DVD out ,Channel 4 sneaked in a bit about it in a program about Deep sea Divers and it ruined everything

In his defence I think it'll be hard to avoid this particular spoiler simply because Fox announced it so publically and are basically hyping this entire series as 'Tony is back OMG!!!11'. Sky will no doubt be using Tony in their promotions ahead of the first episode and if you only watch on DVD then Tony's grinning face will probably be on the front cover.

But yeah there was a thread last week.

Sorry if I ruined it for anyone!!

But, as said above, it wasn't actually a big secret.

Sorry to those who still haven't watched series 6. My advice would be - just skip oit as it was a pile of sh!te. This explains the desperate measure of bringing back a popular dead character for series 7.

I will remember for the future - no spoilers!

Now, I know it's not real but it is nice to have some realism. Critics say that EastEnders was dammaged forever by the return of Den as the viewers just didn't buy it. It didn't really matter when Harrold came back in Neighbours as that show has never been taken too seriously.

So the question is, who was supposed to be dead but then suddenly wasn't. From the world of TV or the real world.

1) Tony Almeda ,24
2) Den Watts, EastEnders
3) Harrold Bishop, Neighbours

...

I think Jesus was supposed to be dead then he came back to life!
