Desperate times

Seeing as it's the potential dawning of a new era, I thought that I'd bring match-day exhortation measures back - more in hope than expectation. As you can see, Shooe's been thoroughly enlivened by all the recent news and is raring to do his bit for the new Manager and the team today. I have requested "Goals for the Blues" whilst delivering his mid-day repast (Whiskas 11+), so we'll hope for the best once again.

Come on you Shooe and come on, you Blues!

He's even got his own dug out, what a pro.

Win today or the cat gets it. :LoyalSupporter:

Some things are clearly beyond the power of Shooe, John, but I have decided that clemency is the order of the day. Maybe he's saving our much-needed wins for the forthcoming fixtures against the Ewes , the Os, Barrow and Newport. Or maybe I'm as unhinged as you'd expect as anyone who created such an unlikely thread. But fingers and paws crossed, we're still not out of it yet.

Glad to hear that Shooe's pic can still make your Missis swoon, Stan! I didn't want to put too much pressure on Shooe with that hope and expectation remark but though a win was clearly what was needed, the draw - in the context of the Col Ewe and Grimsby results - this w/e still keeps the door open for survival possibilities. It's going to be difficult though, particularly next Saturday at SJP.

I've upped Shooe's pre-match meal for this one - it's Sheba Salmon - with the exhortation of "Goals for the Blues, please" and I've also advised him how important this game is. I'm hoping that he'll be able to influence the outcome in a most positive fashion.

I think he's doing a great job for a two legged cat
