Could anyone tell me the reason why Vic Jobson would be 'turning in his grave?' Obviously there was some confrontation but what happened there?

Amongst his many fallings out & battles with them, & many others, Vic did at one time ban the Echo for a couple months from the club, but as Howard Southwood still used to turn up & sit in the stand it made very little difference.  Mind you having said that if Howard had stayed at home his reports would have probably been just as accurate!

Can't remember what the reason was, but I'm sure he wanted the Echo to apologise for something they printed that he had said & he then denied it, might have been in the aftermath of the "Hitler youth" comment.

Having said that at least the Echo printed the right picture when he died.  That wouldn't happen in the new programme under Sir Dave Scriven.  Would it??

Jobson was always having run-ins with anyone and everyone about something or nothing. He was just like that.

That is why our litigation bill was on a par with the national debt.
