RG huge crash

How on earth he walked away from that is a miracle, he's sat strapped in that fireball after hitting the barrier at 140mph

That was very worrying and scary. Halo seems to have saved his life there.

How did he manage to get out of that! Incredible!

Suspected broken ribs and minor burns. Very very lucky man.

Very lucky indeed - credit to the safety measures in place in/on the car. The chap in the crash helmet above jumped out of the following medical car and directed the steward where to point his extinguisher which probably helped RG exit the car. Surprised to read today he's hoping to be back in the cockpit for the last race in Abu Dhabi in a couple of weeks. Hopefully, if he does, he remembers to check his mirrors before maneuvering....... Kvyat must've sh@t himself when RG cut across him and got clipped.....

I doubt Kvyat showed up in his mirrors it seems he was in his blind spot, but It was a bit silly by Grosjean he should have been aware that Kvyat was going to be around there and not aggressively pulled across, but it was a normal racing accident (fairly typical for Grosjean!)

I think we'll see some redesign of armco in those types of places, along with improved fire-proof gloves, and full helmets for the medical car personnel.

Of course he is wanting that, he currently doesn’t have a seat for next season. Haas today announced one of their seats taken by Nikita Mazepin, which means one is still up for grabs. Rumours doing the rounds that the other seat will go to Mick Schumacher.

Aye, shame we couldn't get Mazepin's old man to buy the club - he's absolutely minted ?

7.1 billion net worth :Stunned:

Money talks in the sport of F1, exactly why Lance Stroll won’t lose his seat at Racing Point (Aston Martin) whilst they have daddy’s backing. They’ll let Perez go who is the better driver and brings a lot of Mexican cash.

Who was on pole at Istanbul?

Gotta feel for Perez, especially after how he helped the team earlier on..... Thoroughly deserves a drive next year.
