"Southend United have signed up to the Football League's 'Enjoy the Match' campaign this season.
The Football League is encouraging supporters this year to behave in a proper manner within family areas at football stadiums up and down the country.
A code of conduct has been introduced, whilst logos, signs and stickers will adorn Roots Hall from Saturday.
Each participating club will also play a pre-recorded message prior to kick-off over the tannoy to remind supporters to respect those around them.
Blues chief executive Geoffrey King told southendunited.co.uk: "We pride ourselves on being a family club with a friendly atmosphere.
"We want to encourage as many families along to Roots Hall as possible by ensuring them they will have happy environment to enjoy the game."
