He can still be in top form at times, perhaps another year?

Sorry but when has he been in any form ?

He was looking ok end of last season and has been out all year pretty much. At his age not a lot of point trying to get back after so long out.

Without being bothered to check back , were there not several on here at the end of last season saying that the style of football had improved when Harris was playing with Freddy ?

Harris and Freddy are our best 'footballers' at the club and also the best finishers. They are both valued amongst their peers and under Brown (already made positive comments on them) they make get fit and have a refreshed entusiasm.

As a pairing last season, we were at our best. It's a Sturrock mistake that cost us I feel by selecting Benyon in that second leg at home to Crewe.

One is a local lad and genuine Southend fan who wants the best for the club, he is a positive person in and around the changing room and training ground, the other is and always will be an absolute legend at this club. Both are goalscorers and could play huge parts (No matter what size) next season. There our players until June 2014 and both Southend boys so lets back them.

Yep sounds good as the strike force,2 unfit slow lads with one over the hill whilst the other refuses to chase anything down,They will have defenders wetting their pants through having the giggles.
