Steve Kavanagh was answering questions tonight at the Trust AGM and was asked for his views on the smoke bombs at Portsmouth.
He felt the implications could be far-reaching for both the club and fans. Other clubs would be warned about our "fans" which could mean mass searches at away games and if it happened again at the Hall we would be forced to have a large police presence in the ground for future games at the club's expense.
He said it was illegal to take them into grounds and obviously illegal to set them off.

He was not impressed by the actions of the person or persons responsible.

You can't ask questions like that. The club is shrouded in secrecy. Even our great leader has stopped giving interviews or speeches. Reminds me of The USSR in the old days.

Difference between us and the USSR is we would plan to build a wall, and 8 years later still be no closer to laying bricks
 
I wonder if Cambridge were investigated for their use of a smoke bomb (at least, that's what I assume it was) on Saturday?
