Heard Ldnfatso's Gower story first hand last night.
If this rumour has any truth behind it , then Gower should be afraid......................very afraid

would be good if it happened, i just dont think it will good player, may have one year left, but with type of tactics we get from ps i feel it would be mistake for gower also wages for real footballer will be more than our bunch of not good footballers, ok maybe we have 3 decent the rest would not be intune

Read an interview with Brendon Rodgers a couple of weeks back concerning a new contract for Raheem Sterling. He was reluctant to pay mega money to a 17 year old and stated that he had a player at Swansea last season, who worked his way up from the lower divisions and was still on a couple of thousand a week. Don't know if he was referring to Mark Gower but he certainly fits the desciption.

How p***ed off would you be if you were a Premier League player only earning a couple of grand a week? Most Prem Club youth teamers are on more than that!

I don't know the rumour is all true but they have definitely been house hunting back in my neck of the woods & not planning to be in Swansea next year. I thought Mark was hanging up his boots but I hoped that he might be tempted by a return to the club.

Must be a good casino in Romford then !

Crazy I got on a rush over train at Wickford the other day and sat next to Shane Westley... never released he still lives in Essex TBH

Anyway I was impressed with the lady he was with for the whole 35 minute Journey to Liverpool Street she was looking in her mirror and putting on her full make up for the whole Journey

Sorry to hijack the post

You didn't, you hijacked the thread :winking:

There were those that said he had to many off days when he was here at the age of 29 or 30, what is he now 34 maybe 35, i dont see it myself, but as a coach maybe.

I spoke to Mark Gower when he was here in Los Angeles in July, when I told him Freddie was back at SUFC his eyes lit up! Seem interested in what SUFC was up to! - he played well, as a right midfielder, distribution was good and always found himself in an open position, not very mobile but still a class player. You may be able to see some of his work on the Ventura Fusion FC website.(v. Swansea City).
