Yamas v ShrimperZone CC

At the start of this season I'd have thrown this one as their team was immense. However they then went broke and sold off their entire team, best player now 9,000 BTR! They must be sitting on a pile of cash and the manager is still logging in but luckily they haven't spent it yet so I'm sending out a mostly first team line up to hopefully rack up a massive score.

With only one competitive FC game left this season we still have a good chance of finishing in the top 4 which looked highly unlikely when we lost 4 of our first 5 games!

Eboracum Legionnaires v Southend

Away to 2nd place. Need to win my next 2 games to have a chance of avoiding a play-off. Flat pitch under sunny skies await us.

Bogeymen v BATTY SHRIMPERS

Need to win 2 out of my last 3 to (probably) avoid a relegation play-off. I'm 5th and playing the side in 4th. Prior to last week, I would have said this was a game I could win, but then he went and bought these 2 players (1st one bowls, 2nd one bats)

Darren Haynes (521846) Darren is a RH Batsman and RM Bowler. He is a destructive player with superb leadership skills and elite experience.

He currently has competent batting form, proficient bowling form and sublime fitness.

Plays For: Bogeymen
Nationality: New Zealand
Age: 29 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 1,089,192
Wages: £874,842 p/w

Darrell Julian (55877) Darrell is a LH Batsman and LH Spin Bowler. He is a cautious player with proficient leadership skills and elite experience.

He currently has superb batting form, proficient bowling form and sublime fitness.

Part of the West Indies squad
Plays For: Bogeymen
Nationality: West Indies
Age: 33 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 716,336
Wages: £650,896 p/w

Think I may be struggling to win this one, especially as none of my bowlers are above Invigorated.

Tough day in prospect here. Hard & Fast, Sunny and batsmen set to V Attacking. Looking for 400+ for NRR purposes.

End of Over 5: 54-0, runrate=10.80
Welsby 3-0-32-0
Sinethemba* 22 (15 balls)
Cunningham 30 (15 balls)

Off to a good start, but I'm sure that will all change once his 800k wage bowler comes on.

Top of the table Mrs BB takes on the bottom side today. She needs a good win, to try and sneak into the top half of the promotion table (she's one place below the line at the moment)

Lamey* 30 (26 balls)
Sinethemba 100 (89 balls)

Collapsed after Evelyn got out, but we've got something to bowl at.

The players are off the field for the break between innings.

End of Over 48: 198-10, runrate=4.13
Henshall 9-2-29-4

Career best for Stride, as Mrs BB ends up 20 short of her highest team score.

Last Wicket: Potter st. Courtney b. Uys 144 (FOW: 296/1)

Bit disappointed with our total but a win is a win.

And that's the end of the match. ShrimperZone CC won by 319 runs.
ShrimperZone CC 362-2
Yamas 43-10

Going to lose, hardly surprising given the players he has.

Mrs BB won by 349 runs, and should sneak above the auto-promotion line...

was on a GFI today, won a crucial game by 6 wickets. My other two rivals for the coveted 2nd relegation spot both lost, so good stuff all round. Horsey starred with an unbeaten 127 from 123 balls.

Lost easily, by 8 wickets, despite these ratings:

Eboracum Legionnaires Southend
Top Order: elite elite
Middle Order: sensational masterful
Lower Order: woeful competent
Seam Bowling: phenomenal elite
Spin Bowling: elite elite
Fielding: respectable competent
MOTM: Fitzhenry

It's been like this all season.
