Older fans in football

Plus its the only song they have .. so when we take it over and completely drown them out it makes them feel like the sad little tossers they truly are

To be fair that was the loudest I have ever heard the O's support. Not saying much, but they have improved to be fair. Must be the addition of the drummer!

Still, we smashed them in terms of noise, as always... We just need to apply this same passion to home games, starting on Saturday. Let's give it a right bloody go eh? It's much more fun that sitting in silence.

PS, Think that was the loudest rendition so far, of our "Sing Up" chant at one point. Top stuff, let's sing it again on Saturday!

When Southend United come out to play, sing up, sing up
When Southend United come out to play, sing up, sing up
When Southend United come out to play, we sing at home and we sing away...

I was playing 5 a side so couldn't go to the match. I was just pulling up to my house as the 93rd minute 'goal' was disallowed.

As I opened the front door, I heard shouts coming from the lounge. My 2 boys (13 and 11) were listening to the commentary and were pogoing (is that spelt correctly) up and down in the lounge, whilst holding onto each other. My Missus was sitting there, eyes raised to the ceiling (she later said 'it was only a bl00dy draw')!!

For one moment I thought that maybe they'd found one of my old sex pistols albums, but as soon as I sussed that we'd actually scored and that they weren't winding me up (wouldn't be the first time)! well what else could I do but...........Join in!

I am an anarchiiiist!
