Kiltie

The third world country that Malta is, I cannot sign up for a paypal account that allows me to pay via paypal.

Cheques can be a hassle too, so tomorrow I will send you cash registered.

It would be great to see Mike & Fay back for the final, even if I only just come back from seeing them in Spain. I will sponsor them £ 30.

What, so you can buy a brand new shiny trumpet!!
Nah, fruit machines are an expensive hobby these days

Very true. Actually seeing as people are feeling generous how about sponsoring me in my Cardiff Pub Crawl. I will aim to have a pint in each bar within 2 miles of the ground during the Saturday before the game. I'm sure you will agree this is a very good cause - all money donated will be used to help me and my team through the day for example, end of day curry!

Many thanks in advance.

They are expensive hobbies, unless you catch them at the right time!

Don't believe him. He'll just gamble it away in the local gambling unit. I like a flutter now and again but this man just takes it too far ... He has a point. Who made you team leader?

Ahhh yes. As a result of last years visit i am already a member of the casino down there. Lets just hope i have the same sort of luck as last year on the blackjack table!!

Now whilst i don't agree with gambling when you're hammered it did happen to pay off last year. I spent around 8 hours in there on the friday night and then the Saturday afternoon whilst watching the rugby. As a result of this gambling i was pretty much even. Then the Sat night ends at Reflex and in my drunken state roll over to the casino and start playing. An hour later and i've lost my £50 stake!! Never mind, back to the hotel to pass out, after all it is 3.15am and we've got a big game the next day. Anyway back in my room and start stripping off when out pops 2 £25 chips - i must have been winning and naturally put my initial stake away!! Well what am i to do? The casino shuts in 30 mins, it won't be open till Sun PM by which time i'll be on my way out of Wales. Only one thing for it - Clothes back on and run back there to cash it in. Except the blackjack table was in the way and with drunkeness clouding any judgement won £400 in 10 minutes!!! Fantastic - My entire weekend payed for in a 10 minute drunken gamble!!

Why don't you write to Captain Cash in the News of the World?

Anyway, we're kinda hi-jacking their thread here, so lets put the tales to sleep for a while ...

I would happily donate were it not for the fact that I'm not sorted for getting my own sorry *** down there!!

Seriously, I'll have a check on the finances. Reckon the city types on this board may be better endowed financially.

SiaK - thanks for sorting this out, cheque's in the post.

Folks, remember... dig deep, because (in effect) this is money which is being paid to the SUSCT. Mike & Fay are just borrowing it for now, and will (presumably) be wearing novelty sombreros & moustaches and also bringing us some tortilla española in recompense!

That's great. We don't actually have to raise that much, so a few more donations like this and we are there!

Come on, peeps, it IS for a good cause - and the Trust will be the winners.

Final year is definitely the tightest year. Not sure what year you're in.

In final year, I get 2600 loan, about £500 less than my second year (two years ago!!).

Still, I'll see what I can do. After all, we have developed a pseudo relationship through SZ over the last year or so....
