Just heard from a very good source that the players have now been paid by Martin Dawn. Feel free to check with any players you currently stalk on Facebook.... ;)

A bit of good news at last.....

Doesn't matter now. It should never have happened if there was the proper financial management in place.

Absolutely, what's the point now that they have surrendered League 1 status, well done Martin!

So after the horse has ran off, been shot, frozen, cooked by some Gallic cousin, eaten, shat back out, gone to the sewage farm, been recycled into methane gas or whatever they do, heated a house and stopped some old dear from freezing to death the management at SUFC have bolted the stable door?

Hopefully all of the lads that play on the pitch are thick enough to forget about how they have been treated and smash the Leeds scum on Saturday ;)

Sorry, but this is actually worrying. Why haven't SUFC paid the wages?
Because... we have had income last month - and no Tax has been paid yet... erm.... so where did that money go from our 3 home games last month?

What the betting on a nice black and white picture of Ronnie on the official site, saying how wonderful he is that he has paid the players out of one of his associated companies. Bless him.

reckon they using that money to pay other debts off. whatever they pay be???

Apparently they have all been given cheques by Martin Dawn, hope they are not rubber ones. UTB

No way, RM said no debts were owed other than HMRC.. so it must be true.

And if he was saving the money to pay the tax, why hasn't he done it already? Becasue, there isn't any other income bar Brentford before the hearing.

3 Home games total Attendance 19,577 less 3 x 4500 season tickets = 6,077 @ 12 quid a head = 73K less VAT = 60K

Wouldn't go far and thats Gross income and the average ticket price could be on the high side and the season ticket holders attending a bit low !

So we've definitely ******* the season ticket money then?

I think thats pretty obvious don't you.

That money came in 9 months ago and was being used to prop us the wage bill over the summer, which I would imagine is the case in nearly all football clubs as it provides the only income in may, June, and July and there are still outgoings to be met.
