Breaking News Players Fully Paid Up By Martin Dawn

3 Home games total Attendance 19,577 less 3 x 4500 season tickets = 6,077 @ 12 quid a head = 73K less VAT = 60K

Wouldn't go far and thats Gross income and the average ticket price could be on the high side and the season ticket holders attending a bit low !
Other clubs manage, with a bigger playing staff, less fans at the turnstiles, still pay there players on time, and keep themselfs out of courts. It seems to me if we had a windfall tomorrow of say 1mill pound, the next day, the players would still have to wait for there wages, and the club would still be broke.

But this won't be officially confirmed, and why should it be.

If RM comes out and says the players have been paid, then we know there has been problems with payment in the past and he gives what essentially is a rumour some credibility. If he says nothing then he doesn't give this rumour credibility.

By the way, i'm not suggesting that the players have been paid on time every month, far from it.

Chris Phillips has this to say in today's Echo -Blues' players have now been paid for February and have been told they will get their money for March by the end of the week.

Wasn't February's wages paid by the PFA? If so, does that mean we've now paid them back, like Ron said he would?

Would this include the 50-or-so Clubs who have gone into Administration since 1997?

Or the 90% of League Clubs who run at a loss?

When a football club returns a loss (as almost all do) where do you think the money comes from to stop them from folding?
