Police dogs die in car

Tragic accident my arse....bollocks to that. Leaving dogs in a car on a hot day isn't an accident, it's animal cruelty.

Send them to prison...

Oh that's right, they are coppers, they will close ranks, pull a few strings and get away with it!

have to agree with all of it, and cannot add anything else, because you've hit the nail on the head

Chill out petal, it's a couple of dogs. And what's it to do with Essex police?

I trust you must be old bill then, yes barry made a mistake nottingham old bill by the sounds of it, but agree with his comments, the police are a useless bunch of no mark ****s, who have very little regard to anything other than themselves, i have watched these fly on the wall documentaries ' what a bunch of useless smug plums they come across at. I hope the book is thrown at these sick ar5eholes who have cruelly killed these poor dogs, that were incidentally donated to the force!!!

I agree that police officers often come across very badly in those documentaries but I wouldn't base my opinion of several thousand people on the actions of a few flash-harrys playing up to the cameras. I also agree that whoever was in charge of the dogs should be disciplined.

As someone said they'll be given paper work for a few months, but as they did such a good job of it they got a Promotion and a nice big bonus for the good work they done.

I dont base my opinion on a few thousand by a few flash harry's, I base it on 99 per cent of the pricks that I have come across in my life who are just fool's who were bulled at school.

I say it again, how on earth can a trained police dog handler NOT be aware that leaving two of them in the car is going to cause a problem?. They are either completely stupid (could be an option) or just careless self centred skum who think it's ok because they are in the force.

Few points that I think should be made.

None of you, as far as I'm aware, were there when the incident happened, so stop speculating. How do you know the air con wasn't on when the owner left the vehicle, and stop working later, or any other possible explanations? I'm not saying there are any decent explanations, I'm just saying that until you know the facts, please get off your high horses and stop speculating.

The IPCC and RSPCA are conducting an investigation, and they have said Notts Police are co operating with the investigation.

As for Rozzer slagging, will you still be slagging them off when your wife gets gang raped and they catch the people that did it? Do you now exactly how the job of a police officer works? The systems they work by, the legislation that restrains them? Doubt it. Do you want to do a job where you're likely to get kicked/punched/spat at/ if not more every shift. A job where you may discover the body of a person whose been dead for days. All for 20k a year?
Think about it- you might be the first to slag them off, but if they help you, then I bet you aren't the first to credit them....

Whatever job you do, there are bad eggs. That can't be helped.

First of all they are on more than 20k PA. Your questions in regards to a family member being gang raped and the police helping to catch the animal, well **** me sideways isn't that is what they are paid and trained to do?. I have had a few dealings with the police in Essex and found most of them to be complete idiots with a huge chip on their shoulder about wanting revenge for their sad uninteresting lives.

Also how many of them really deal with rotten old bodies of the dead?, most of them have too deal with traffic offences and nuisance neighbours all day unless you are specialised in something which probably means they have a kind of sick interest in that subject.

Er. No. Being specialised in a forensic subject (be it anthropology, or bones to you lot, or entomology, bugs and slime to you, or whatever) doesn't mean you're sick. It means you're bloody smart. It means you do a lot of hard work in solving a case and rarely get the credit for it.

Well i know this is impossible, for the simple fact that A/C does not work unless the engine is running. Is it possible that the pigs left the engine running long enough for the A/C to break, then left it even longer for the poor dogs to die slowly?

erm... no.

Is it possible that the stupid ******s are guilty of gross misconduct of the highest order?

erm... clearly.

**** 'em i say, and **** anyone who rationalizes it

but you must admit they risk their lives every day protecting us. Who else do you know that is brave enough to hide around a corner or behind a bush waving a speedometer.

1. I hope no member of your family ever gets killed by a speeding motorist.

2. Ever heard of the phrase prevention is better than the cure?

3. I've just driven past, what certainly looked like a FRTC (Fatal Road Traffic Collision) on the A130. Are the traffic coppers there at the moment complete. The scene looks a mess, now imagine being first on that scene.

4. As for how many coppers deal with horrendous scenes- quite a few, and believe me, I'm speaking from experience.

You really are a clown of the highest order. Do you have all the facts of this incident in front of you? Do you? No. So shut the **** up and let the investigating agencies do just that. I could put 10 scenarios on here that are all plausible, and would turn the incident into an accident. Equally, its highly likely, though not definite, that someone was at fault, and deserves to be treated like any other citizen. It takes a lot to annoy me, but the attitutes on here are starting to annoy me. I've got no problem with people who dislike police, but most people i know who dislike police, at least appreciate the job that they do.

But if prevention was the cure, why not utilise more cameras? (god forbid)

Why not have the pigs actually working on real crimes? you alwaays here about 'theres not enough OB on the street etc etc',

I'm a clown? at least i understand that A/C in a motor vehicle needs an engine running to make it work

It strikes me as a bit odd that the Police decided some time ago that there are now no such things as accidents on the roads of Britain but only incidents. This implies that there is always a reason for something happening therefore it can not possibly be an accident.

Wrong! Incidents on the roads are classed as RTC's, or Road Traffic Collisions. RTC's can easily be an accident, that is what the investigation is for. The simple fact is however, that not all collisions are accidents, and therefore you cannot classify an incident as something that it is not.

No it doesn't. It needs the ignition on. And anyway, how do you know how the car was wired?* Exactly, you don't. I know no more about this incident than you do. All you are doing is speculating. Please stop, as it serves no purpose. Until all the facts are established, we don't know what happened.

And can someone please edit Gray's blue jr's post. It looks like I've said what he said.
