I was thinking more of the local services used by the residents. more use of libraries, parks, street lighting, roads, more refuse, all those things.
So you use more street lighting the more people live in your house ?

as beforehand we were all one and in it together, sadly that isn't the case anymore.
Trust you to pick that one. The street lighting is available to more people in my house.
What difference does the size of the property make? You can only sit in one chair.
Unless I am completely mis reading this, surely the more people in your house, the more services you will use.
In fact a Duke as has been put as an example, is hardly likely to use the local library, or the school.
I live by two simple doctrines;
'Greed, for lack of a better word, is good. Greed is right, greed works.' - Gordon Gekko
'**** Bitches, get money' - Lil' Wayne
What poets!!!
really? really? so the aristocracy has only been going for 30 years?
What makes one person better than the next? If you base it on Money and title you are very sad indeed.
My point was that it all existed long before Thatcher. Ever since people started owning land there has been a have/have not culture.
If he was a mate of yours, I'm not surprised he was a little 'challenged'.
He's as as bright as they come.Just not very political.
And I'd be suprised, as another bean counter, if you've earned more than him in your working life, or indeed my younger brother, (not Shrimpero, the other one), who's a venture capitalist.
I would imagine I've probably put more up my nose than the pair of them have ever earned or are ever likely to earn.
So you're happy to admit that you're a cocaine addict? (That would explain a lot of your posts).
Happy to admit I was, sure.
Remember what Robbin Williams had to say about that?
Thatcher did a lot of damage to this country and to be fair she did some good. One thing that changed when she came to power was the community of people. I can say this having been there pre Thatcher.
Before she came to power there was always still a sense of community, maybe it was lasting over from WW2 but there was. She destroyed that in one full swoop. Her ideas that there was no society and that everybody needed to look after number one turned this country into selfish people that only thought of themselves. There are far to many examples of this today with current politics and how the Banks and tax evading companies work on a high scale and the general attitude of people these days.
I think it is a shame she killed that as beforehand we were all one and in it together, sadly that isn't the case anymore.
What a crock of horse ****. That just about reiterates my earlier post.
Is he a cross between Robbie and Robin? And I really couldn't give a toss.
I believe Polly Toynbee trousers over £100k a year writing for The Guardian despite having only one A level. and no degreeQuality of life is sadly not only connected to hard work or talent it is often gifted by privilege of birth, just take a look at the House of Commons or Lords, the upper echelons of Government Offices or high ranking positions in commerce. The poll tax protected the status quo and ensured the wealthiest paid the least. Fair it wasn't.
