Breaking News Ron Statement 21.03.21

Rotational basis with "not just me but the first team manager, the head of recruitment and academy manager together with back room personnel (finance and commercial)".

Don't bring the others into this ! This is your making...own it !

"I accept everybody is entitled to their own opinion but not their own facts"

But you won't tell us the facts, so people will speculate.

Go fornicate elsewhere Ron, you've destroyed this club by not seeking outside assistance so you could have bigger share of the pot when your housing gets built.

Even if we stay up unless something changes we will be in the same situation next season, signing Greg Halford in Jan rather than an actual striker was very poor and clearly not the right choice

Do us fans have short memories?

We signed too many players on too much money and did return the performance chasing the championship.

Ron gave each manager what he could afford which a better head cough CEO cough probably would have said go fish to the manager.

We had too many injuries under Chris Powell due to the strength and conditions, all with gutting the team of leaders which may or may not have been disrupted to the club.

Then the Bond and Sol disasters where the rest of the team got gutted along with the toxic atmosphere as well at a lack of money has left us screwed.

followed by a late appointment of inexperienced league manager under embargo with half a senior team with players wanting to leave and without a constant strike force with no fans to get behind the team to give them a confidence boost.

As you can see it started under Brown four/five years ago chasing the championship playing through the nose for players we on here we’re saying “good business” which have cost us.
Don't think it is a case of short memories. The content of your statements are all too memorable. The blame only stops with one person. RM

That statement says nothing at all that supporters want to hear, never gives anything away that will or would reassure fans at all, might as well just say mouthing at all.

That statement reads like a chairman who thinks we will be playing National League football next season.

I get the superficial attraction to Zoom meetings but what do they actually achieve? We get to hear the club's side of events but beyond that it does not change a thing.

Talk time is well and truly over.

If he really cared and 'hurt' as much as he claims he would realise he had failed Southend United and put the club up for sale.

As he states himself he needs to ditch the blame culture and take responsibility.

Or maybe Ron read on social media and a forum (as he stated) accusations of why he hadn’t stayed in touch with fans without actually knowing why and the facts. Anyway Thursday sounds like very interesting viewing.

Nothing to see here. Same old b******s. Does nobody proof read this s**t before it's stuck out there to be shot down again?

Congratulations
You’ve hung on for your property deal for almost 20 years,
Looks like coming to fruition while Southend United under YOUR STEWARDSHIP will lose its league status in nearly 115. Years
Must be so proud to leave that legacy as you line your pockets
Top work
Move from a central location to an edge of town nowhere’s ville like so many clubs have.
And all the time recently without any fans to call you to book
Scandalous
Such a sad state of affairs for a club with a lot of potential and a huge potential fan base
No doubt you won’t be around once the property deal is seen through

We are the 91st worst football club in the country, would love to know where we have improved and what the culture change is that he is talking about. We are getting relegated, can't score, can't win football matches. As **** as we've been ever

These proposed Zoom meetings feel like a form of group counselling sessions to me with Uncle Ron assuming the Tyler Durden / The Narrator role.
