Russia leasing long range bombers to the argies. Looks like they will be after the Falklands again, especially if the drilling for oil works it's meant to be highly profitable.

I've never trusted the Russians. They signed a non-aggression pact with Germany in 1939 and agreed to divide north and east europe up between them. People go on about Germany invading Poland, but Russia invaded Poland from the east sixteen days later. (Copied)....The Red Army achieved its targets, vastly outnumbering Polish resistance and capturing some 230,000 Polish prisoners of war. The Soviet government ostensibly annexed the territory under its control and in November 1939 made the 13.5 million Polish citizens under occupation into new subjects of the Soviet Union. The Soviets immediately began a campaign of mass persecution in the newly acquired areas. This included the NKVD-staged elections, conducted in the atmosphere of fear and terror, the results of which the Soviets used to legitimize its annexation of eastern Poland. The Soviets quelled opposition through summary executions and thousands of arrests. The Soviet Union sent hundreds of thousands of people from this region to Siberia and other remote parts of the Soviet Union in four major waves of deportation between 1939 and 1941.
The Russians were land grabbing and forcing communism on people. Then Germany turned on them and they switched sides.
So basically, the Russians have always done things underhand and lied to get whatever they want at the time. So supplying any country that is against Britain or the USA is no surprise. If the USA wasn't so powerful in the background, Russia would probably be the next Germany and would try and sweep across Europe. Putin is looking east now, we just don't know how far he is willing to go or what his ultimate plans are.
