Just noticed a lot of posts saying we looked a bit lethargic and I've noticed it a bit in some of our recent home matches.

To be honest, I'm not too surprised we looked tired. Tactically, it seems Tilson's tells our lads to press the other team for ninety minutes and this is very effective, particularly at our level. Tiredness is bound to come when you play so many games in so few games (do we normally play quite this many at Xmas?!).

Still, this is probably as creditable a point for our team as any as we have come through Christmas flying and blown a gap open down the playoff zone with our form. As soon as the games start to spread out a bit again, I reckon the team will look a bit more re-envigorated and it will be normal service resumed.

Except, of course, Tilson now knows he has reliable reserves to call upon and knows where to play them!

I think the fact we have a spare weekend up coming is a blessing in disguise, not only for the players but for our pockets too!
