And from your privileged position of not being in the situation where you had to deal with questions from every angle and from every corner, trying to do what's right for the supporters whilst also mindful of not rocking a boat we all have to sail in you perfectly entitled to your opinion.
Think I'd better zip it now before I engage fingers before brain...... toodles.
My gripe is that the questions asked were, by RM's own admission, of a nature too sensitive to answer in a public forum. Then, when answers were not forthcoming, the silence was used against him to paint him in a bad light. I'm not saying RM is our saviour and we should all bow to his every word, far from it, but in such a sensitive position the Trust needed to remain neutral and positive.
Instead, they opted to take an Anti-Establishment stance... Made pretty clear by deciding to announce that they had spoke to, and supported, the consortium bid to oust Ron.
In the wake of the incident, the relationship between the Trust and the Board must be at an all time low now and, ultimately, it's the board that have the hand.
Anyway, the HMRC wouldn't have given as an adjournment if there wasn't sufficient evidence to suggest we will have the money on Friday, so I think it's unfair to comment on this further until the matter is resolved.
