Statement on OS: HMRC paid in full (28th Feb 2023)

Well I hope to expect a much more detailed outline soon, not later, soon. We need answers, we now need to know what’s going on with FF, we need to know how we’re going to sustain the future of the club, too many more questions unanswered.
As usual

I think the fans, or at least some that aren't stupid as hell deserve a bit more to be honest. Or doesn't he fancy sharing how many tens of thousands of pounds worth of interest we're stuck paying. I don't like saying this at all but this is a temp solution, we'll be back here again.

Ah matty. Riddle me this. What was the immediate alternative?

If you can't be happy that your club is safe for now, without doubt the best realistic news we could have got today, then what can you do.

It will be interesting to see how resilient the club's finances are in the summer months, should you NOT be promoted. That bridging loan is going to take some paying for.
Just as well there is is a £500m development in the background (which is why anyone would give us a £5m bridging loan in the first place)....and luckily there is a long queue of people who want to buy the club which is of course an additional comfort.

What about the staff that are still waiting to be paid?

What about the St.John's Ambulance?

What is happening with the Training Ground?

Why have you not filled accounts for 2 years?

Can you guarantee there will be no more winding up orders?

A lot of info missing from RM that needs answering
Also makes no mention on the shortage of tomatoes and cucumbers…

Have to wait and see also I hear we are still under a embargo no doubt until it’s been made official by hmrc

Honestly mate what are you expecting?

Does it say the debts been cleared? Yeah?

Plenty to be unhappy about. A statement a few working hours before closing the doors forever saying hmrc paid is more then sufficient for now.

Personally I'd have used even less words. The statement should have just been:

👍
It probably literally just been paid. So quick statement immediately thereafter.
In the coming days no doubt (and we should) get a more detailed statement regarding the details on other debts (particularly wages).

We have been whining about how disgraceful it is we have no statement, they rush one out to say HMRC paid, and we moan about the statement being brief (no doubt because it was rushed out...)
