GOT IT!!! ..................The old ones are the best ones. Whilst I was painting downstairs it suddenly occured to me that this whole Revs business is just a smoke screen. We knew that we weren't going going to sign anyone today......SO..........you announce that someone is actually going LEAVE........causing general panic in the ranks. At the end of the day everyone will be so relieved that we've lost no one, that they will not complain about the absence of signings ......CLASSIC................well, that's the idea anyway. Perhaps I should go back to my painting?

In all seriousness, its not that mad a theory - so not the paint fumes :)
 
It's quite clearly a Muppet, so it could be any of the Defenders we've signed over the last three years.

You should. Revell has gone to Swindon (with a view to a permanent move); Heath & White have gone back to Col Ewe; Calvert is out on loan to St. Albans.

By my reckoning, that puts our first team squad at 19 players, of which two are keepers, two are kids (Herd, O'Keefe) and two are loanees (M'voto, Sawyer) of whom the latter is injured.

That means SUFC own 13 fit senior outfield players, of whom one (JFC) is banned for the next game.

"Bare bones" doesn't really do it justice.
