It's that time of the season again, where I get bored of my team and want to change it.

How much will this boy go for?

Douglas Pedro (1556989) shortcut

RH Batsman, RF Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, moderate fitness.
A destructive player with superb leadership skills and woeful experience.

Plays For: Lt. Smiley's Fearless Flying Frog Brigade
Nationality: England
Age: 18 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 35,796
Wages: £3,632 p/w

Stamina: respectable Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: worthless Concentration: feeble
Bowling: remarkable Consistency: superb
Fielding: respectable

And will the sale of Hudson fund him? I aim to replace Hudson once Cronin pops to remarkable and can be sold. This may heavily weaken my batting for a short while, but Cronin will hopefully pop if I make his fielding net a 2nd bowling one and I can get a remarkable in before the season starts.

30. Percy Hudson - 24 yo, BT Rating=35,512
LH Batsman, LFM Bowler, competent batting form, feeble bowling form, sublime fitness.
An attacking player with woeful leadership skills and proficient experience.
Stamina: respectable Wicket Keeping: feeble
Batting: wonderful Concentration: quality
Bowling: abysmal Consistency: respectable
Fielding: respectable

Thoughts? Is it worth doing?

Pedro
(3 bowling, 1 fielding)
When he turns 19
Stamina 7.16 Respectable
Batting 1 Worthless
Bowling 12.3 Remarkable
Fielding 6.3 Competent
Keepin 1 Worthless
Concentration 3.85 Woeful
Consistency 10.5 Superb

>>Tawanda
(2 bowling, 2 batting, 1 fielding, 1 stamina)
when he turns 19
Stamina 8 Proficient
Batting 9.4 Strong
Bowling 10.5 Superb
Fielding 8.2 Proficient
Keeping 5 Mediocre
Concentration 6.3 Competent
Consistency 11.2 Quality

Tawanda looks the better prospect here, as superb/quality is as good as quality/proficient anyway. Either will do me. Hudson will be up for sale soon. Anyone got any money that will save me a listing fee? No worries if not.

I'm in discussion with somebody about Hudson for 7.5m, but I want confirmation of his intent to buy and have him agree for me to list it at that price so I can call foul if he doesn't bid. Hoping to have him listed in the morning. There will always be somebody to buy in a fortnight or so instead so no rush really, as I don't need to change my side around, although it'd be nice to buy the all-rounder I want.

I'll be looking to "upgrade" Tapp, when the time is right ...

I have nigh on 6 million in the bank so it will give me Tapp + 4 million.

Further to that, i even contemplated selling Jackman last night and upgrading!! Im shocked i even thought about it!

:stunned:

Anybody got any thoughts on which, out of Pedro and Tawanda, is a better prospect?

Got a bid on Hudson so tomorrow morning I'll be after one of this pair.

I've only got 2 :( Well once Cronin pops, but I can just take them off others until then.

I have 2 all-rounders already, would that influence your choice?

Thanks so far BB, won't let me rep you though.

****.

Pedro is at 8.1m and Tawanda 7.5m, looks like getting either is unlikely already. May replace Hudson with another batsman instead, as I'm getting a good price for him.

Good work! To get younger and better concentration would be a nice result in itself, but to turn a profit on that is fantastic.
