Voltage Cherry - Hit or Miss?

Looks nice from the photos that i saw but think it will look even better with black shorts and socks.

Really hoping the white shorts and socks are from the new home strip rather than a pointless all-white 3rd strip!

I'd like the pink to be third kit, yellow will always be my preferred away kit

Despite not having had the best of starts in terms of the result - wondered what people think having now seen this shirt at first hand? Have you changed your mind and cant wait to order or is it still just too pink?

Personally, I thought it looked good and will be even better with black shorts - definitely more 'voltage cherry' than pink imo. Still think someone in marketing needs to give reconsideration in taking in some stock of the ladies version though if they want to maximise their sales opportunities.

Verdict: Its a Yes from me:thumbsup:

Definately a hit with me Roxy. From the first time I saw it I liked it.

I have already arranged to have mine put aside and have to agree that it is very short-sighteness by the club not to have stock in the ladies version

Miss - Nothing against the kit if my Wed night side wore it then great but its not a Southend colour whatever way you look at it. I hate the way we pick these random colours. Southend for my mind should be Blue home and yellow away.

Having heard Paul Clarkes views on the radio especially the bit about it being a bit figure hugging I thought no way can I wear that then. (No im not fat just too short for my weight). Having seen it on the tv highlights and os gallery it doesnt come across as too tight fitting, and I think calling it pink is a bit far fetched.

Yes I like it and still hope we have a version of lilly the pink to sing next year.

Awful ...

oh and worn yesterday so the players didnt have the opprtunity to throw "out of date" kit to the fans who have followed them through thin and thinner yet again this season

Photos taken at a football ground can only be for personal use. Only photos taken by officially accredited photographers can be published on a public forum such as this. Bollocks I know, but it wouldn't take long for SUFC to spot them and get narky with us. Sorry.

Poll added by the way...

I put a photo of Matt Paterson doing his "spectacle" celebration on the thread about him going out on loan, should I have not done then? Delete it if you need to.

Did you take that photo yourself then?
Nope, it's on the interweb, but that means nothing sometimes, so just checking.

Incidentally, just seen the highlights on SKy sports and the colour's not as bad as I thought, wouldn't go quite as far as to say "hit". Grant took his goal very well.

Dave agree 100%, so random, no historical precedent, just silly
