Wayne Gray...

I had this exact conversation with my dad Saturday evening. I'd take Gray back at the moment - someone that can run the channels, knew where the goal was and is a good foil for a 2nd striker.

Not gonna happen though...
 
I'd much rather have Matt Harrold and his deadly finishing and ability to turn defenders inside out, not to mention the fact that we always score 10 goals every game when he plays.
 
I would have Wayne Gray back in a heartbeat. We have ZERO pace in the team at present, and it shows. I am not claiming he's Collymore v2.0, but he's certainly worth a place in the Blues squad.
 
Question you have to ask isnt :

"Is Wayne Gray better than Harrold/Hooper?",

but should be :

"Is Orients 3rd choice striker good enough or should we be trying to find better?"
 
no thanks. I'll always remember Wayne Gray for that goal against Brissle City.. but he really wasn't that great, and whilst he might get a couple of goals I still think we should ultimately be looking to sign players who have the talent to succeed in the CCC. I'm not quite desperate enough yet to re-sign Wayne Gray

But in all seriousness, all views are welcome here, and if I went on your site (is there one? are there enough Borient fans able to work a computer?), I would be disappointed not to cop some abuse.

BAG (lady?), I have been here long enough and am more than intellectually capable of holding my own on here; do feel free to keep dishing it out, as I will be moving into fishing overdrive this week ;)

The (b)Orient site is a bundle busier and more anarchic than this one, and we always enjoy having an opposition fan to play with - Kris off this site is a very well respected chap on there.

As for Wayne Gray...well he'd get in your side, but he doesn't get in ours unless Jabo is injured (yes, "30 goals in 200 games" Jabo). 'Nuff said, as satv opined.
