What sort of crisps? I prefer a maize snack like Frazzles or Wotsits otherwise it can be like eating razor blades.

They're a decent addition to many sandwiches to be fair, the chap who goes on Sunday Brunch (https://www.maxssandwichshop.com/) to show off his sandwiches often has them as an ingredient. Check out his book:

 
Got absolutely soaked on way into work this morning. Felt a tad sniffly so just went out for my go-to medicine - a half mutton, half aubergine curry from the wonderful Metro Pot near Fleet St. Made my brow sweat - feel better already.

I used to work on Fleet Street and Pilpel was my go to luncheon venue.
