What have you watched on TV?

Finally got around to watching the programme about 9/11 which was a compilation of people's own footage, cut with some air traffic recordings. It was a grim watch, hearing and seeing the reactions of the people there on the day.

Started watching Modern Family last night - thought the first 3 episodes were OK, easy enough to watch and Mrs Supernaut and my daughter loved it. I wonder if it's going to go anywhere though, doesn't seem to be any kind of over-arching plotline yet.

Also watching Get Back in 45-60 minute chunks. Bloody brilliant, but not one to watch if you're not already a pretty big Beatles fan IMO.

Not as good as the first season but still interesting. When you think they couldn’t get any weirder characters they find them.

I did wonder how much mileage could be had out of a 2nd series given that Joe is in prison and Carole Baskin didn't want to take part.

UKs Strongest man on C5.

Why are do these events have so few spectators even in non Covid years?

Even world's strongest man is quite poorly attended.
One of the highlights of the Xmas TV schedule. I used to love it as a kid, really liked the Welsh guy Gary Taylor. I like how they tried to keep things fresh and change up the events ever so slightly like rather than use weights they'll use a bar with two big fish tanks on it and then fill it with wheels of cheese (that actually happened). Great entertainment

You don't know me on BBC. Good story line but a little disappointed with the ending. A good watch nonetheless.

David Baddiel's programme about the negative effects of social media.

It didn't really cover any new ground but I found the cancel culture parts most interesting. I agree that some people should be forgiven for mistakes they made in the past but there seems to be a lot of sanctimonious types out there unwilling to do so. As part of this section Baddiel apologised for the Jason Lee/blackface sketches from Fantasy Football League in the 90s.

Dexter New Blood, really enjoying it so far. Didn’t know where they were going to go with it but loving the direction they’re going in.

I know I'm very late to the party but I randomly started watching the american version of The Office. Attempted the UK version years ago but didn't like it at all after a few episodes. Hooked on the american version though, done nearly 6 seasons in about 3-4 weeks.
