What have you watched on TV?

Working through series 5 of The last Kingdom. Uhtred of Bebbanburg rides again and very good it is too. Based on Bernard Cornwall books for those that didn't know.
Finished them all now. Great series from start to finish and I would thoroughly recommend it to those that like Viking/Saxon fictional history.

Also finished watching Series 5 of "The Last Kingdom" last night as well, great series, highly recommended.

New series of Top Boy on Netflix

Watched the 1st 2 episodes last night, and it’s as good as ever !

I'm 2 episodes in now as well. Agree, it's a great show.

"Is it cake?" on Netflix, I think it was seven 40 minute programmes. It's very American of course, but I really enjoyed it - watched it over the weekend in its entirety.

I'm one season in and I really do like it, but.....Vikings is much better IMO.
I totally agree, but Vikings was an History Channel creation from Michael Hirst guaranteed to be a blockbuster. Uhtred of Bebbanburg could become as watchable to you as good old Ragnar Lothbrok was in Vikings.

Yeah I'm definitely giving it a chance, can't get enough of that type of history to be honest. Going to Norway in August and recently find out that there's a new Viking museum right near by, can't wait!

Penultimate episode of Peaky Blinders and it had everything in it that makes the series so good. Sadly only one episode left, boo.

Finished Inventing Anna, really enjoyed it and impressed with how accurate Julia Garner’s portrayal of the real Anna Delvey is.

Well worth a watch.

I watched that.

Seems the biggest issue was some of the public school types that were running the show.

You could be describing the Lloyds London market with that sentence, bane of my life! Go to the right school and you automatically get put above someone with 10-15yrs experience, they do teach these guys confidence to believe they know better though

Just started re-watching Inspector Morse from the beginning. 4 episodes in, bloody brilliant. Really want to go to Oxford now.
