It was there, certainly the fighting, but alcohol and drugs is ten times worse now, and none of my Leigh lot took any substance before or during a night out, which a lot of them do nowadays.

The cantaloupe melon we had lined up to follow dinner tonight. It passed all the 'I'm ripe' tests but then turned out to be hard, juiceless and flavourless. Apart from that it was ok.

In total agreement TSNB. There was more fighting, mainly between local areas, Southend, Leigh, Rayleigh, Benfleet, Canvey, Corringham & also with local greasers etc.
None of us had a clue about drugs, just presumed they were associated with the 'hairy's' & hippie's, back then.

Big problems in our road with with Essex Water, they've been working on what I presume was a leak, since about 11 am this morning. We've had the water on for an hour at around half five and then again around 10.30, latest update is they expect to have it finished by 2 am!

My first rapid antigen test. Swabbing your tonsils 4 times each is bettered only by then sticking the swab up your nose. Such fun.
