Question What is making you happy today?

The brilliant service I got from Southend Hospital when I had an MRI scan today. Really helpful, explained everything and dished out sympathy for an old geezer in abundance. Thank you NHS.

Rumour had it that not many months ago one of the MIR scanners was broken for quite a long period, and at considerable expense; by a cleaner being overly liberal with liquids and cleaning products .

I was in the MRI annexe at the front of the hospital. For annexe read portacabin. They are building a new centre housing two new machines at the moment and they will bin the one I was in.

Had a BT enginner fix a line faultimate, got my bill, found they stuck £129.99 on it for the engineers work. Had a very controlled discussion with BT customers services. They agreed that they were total dicks and cancelled it.

Never mind that, what's a faultimate? Is it a friend who does nothing but criticise your fashion choices but is happy to hold your hair back when you're throwing up those multiple Lambrini's into the porcelain telephone?

Total gits, the pair of you. Predictive text.

Bishops Stortford FC getting their 1st win of the season in their local derby against Harlow Town. Two of my best mates took over at Stortford this season after a couple of seasons keeping Witham town at mid table with no budget got them noticed. They have outplayed opposition in a couple of games this season and not got their rewards so it was good to see them totally outclass Harlow and get a result.
Also Jamie Cureton is a freak of nature, he is 43 today and he is mobile, quick and still has an eye for goal. I thought MAF was impressive but wonder where he will be at 43!
