Question What is making you happy today?

Getting lots of jobs done I just haven’t had the time for or could be bothered to do.

The neighbours of my daughter nurse bought her a lovely Easter Egg and a thank you card for all the extra work she is doing.
It really cheered her up, being unexpected &c.

Will be sitting in the garden later reading Radio Caroline, The Boat That Rocked. Anyone with even a passing interest in pirate radio should really get this book.

Gripping stuff, this! So a shed with a car is a garage but a garage empty is a shed? At what point in time does a garage become a shed? When the garage is totally empty?

When your wife gives up telling you to tidy it up!

Ha! Our garage (the car is currently on the forecourt) now seems to be the (more or less ) exclusive property of my wife.I only go in there to drag out the occasional 6 pack.

What have you replaced them with?
Like for like?
Where did you purchase those or is it a job that has been a long time in the planning?

I bought the cladding 18 months ago but never finished the job...

Simply covered the existing wood with plastic. Horrible job because I had to rip of some beading first which was underneath some metal edging and I had to cut all the nails holding it on with an angle grinder because I couldn't get to them with pincers.

I had to do it all leaning over the edge because I bushes made ladder access impossible.

Won a Southend United shirt on eBay I didn’t manage to buy at the time of it coming out.

Unfortunately still waiting for that elusive Custard Splat masterpiece.
